I haven't washed this yet, but on first glance it is definitely NOT heavy! The loops on the back side of the fabric are very flat and the unwashed hand doesn't really feel like cotton. Hopefully all this will change with washing but I'm feeling rather disappointed at the moment. The transaction was easy and quick!
